How to get a Turkish citizenship?

There are many foreigners from a lot of countries who get Turkish citizenship every year.  Like in every country, certain conditions are required before applying for Turkish citizenship. How strong the Turkish passport is?

According to the "Henley Index" the Turkish passport has been ranked 38th worldwide and stands on 18th position in Europe with 114 points on the travel without visa index. The data also points out that; Turkish passport gains entry and travel to 72 countries without a visa or visa on arrival. Turkish passport holders can travel to 46 countries that allow them to obtain visas on arrival.

Get Turkish Citizenship by an Investment:

The fastest and easiest way to get Turkish citizenship is by purchasing thousands of dollar property in Turkey and promise to hold that property for a minimum of 3 years. According to the Turkish government's new law, foreigners may obtain Turkish citizenship by investing $250,000 in Turkey in real estate and can get Turkish citizenship in a very fast way without any waiting time. If a foreigner from any country buys a property in Turkey of $250,000 worth and promises to hold that property/properties for minimum 3 years,  may obtain Turkish citizenship. In this way, his wife and children less than 18 years old will be eligible to become Turkish citizens.

Turkish citizenship by living in Turkey:

A foreigner may be eligible to obtain Turkish citizenship by living in Turkey for more than 8 years. A foreigner may own a property in Turkey (no matter what cost that property has) and he has been living in Turkey on a permanent residence permit. Foreigners can obtain a permanent residence permit by buying a property in Turkey no matter what cost that property has. By that property, foreigners can get a permanent residence permit for a long period of time,, and then they have to renew that every time it expires. By living in Turkey for 8 years can make a foreigner eligible to obtain citizenship. The most important thing is that in those 8 years he/she shouldn't leave Turkey for more than 180 days. He/she can go out from Turkey but not more than 180 days and if they do that they will be considered non-eligible for Turkish citizenship.

Turkish citizenship by Marriage:

Marrying a Turkish citizen does not entitle a foreigner to obtain Turkish citizenship directly. A foreign person must have been married to a Turkish citizen for at least 3 years and continue marriage in certain conditions. Only in this way a foreigner can apply for citizenship. Apart from that, there are some other conditions are sought for application, as follows;

* The married people should have to live in a family union,

* The foreign person should not behave in activities incompatible with the marriage union,

* There should not be an obstacle in terms of national security and public order and a foreigner shouldn't be involved in any criminal activities.
